The final charges may change if:

  • The quantity of goods differs from the original estimate.
  • Additional services are requested.
  • Pickup or delivery locations change.
  • Access conditions differ from those initially disclosed.
  • Waiting time or unforeseen delays occur.
  • Special handling is required for heavy, fragile, or oversized items.

Customers will be informed of any significant pricing changes before service completion whenever reasonably possible.

5. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • Service availability is verified.
  • Required customer information is received.
  • Any agreed advance payment is received, if applicable.
  • Confirmation is provided by ZAIRA Packers & Movers.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses.
  • Be available or arrange an authorized representative during pickup and delivery.
  • Inform us of fragile, valuable, hazardous, oversized, or unusually heavy items.
  • Ensure all belongings are properly identified before transportation.
  • Remove personal documents, cash, jewelry, passports, and other valuables before packing.
  • Obtain any permissions required for vehicle entry, society access, or building regulations.

Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays or additional charges.

7. Packing and Transportation

We use professional packing materials and industry-standard handling practices to protect your belongings during transportation.

However, customers acknowledge that transportation involves inherent risks, including:

  • Road conditions
  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic delays
  • Mechanical breakdowns
  • Government restrictions
  • Natural events beyond our control

Reasonable care will always be taken to minimize such risks.

8. Delivery Schedule

Estimated pickup and delivery times are provided for planning purposes only.

While we make every effort to deliver on schedule, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Weather conditions
  • Road closures
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Government regulations
  • Public holidays
  • Natural disasters

Such delays shall not automatically constitute a breach of contract.

9. Restricted Items

Customers must not include prohibited or hazardous materials in the shipment, including but not limited to:

  • Flammable liquids

  • Illegal substances
  • Perishable goods
  • Live animals
  • Currency
  • Precious metals

ZAIRA Packers & Movers reserves the right to refuse transportation of prohibited items.

10. Inspection Rights

We reserve the right to inspect packages when necessary to ensure compliance with legal requirements, safety standards, or transportation regulations.

11. Customer Delays

If pickup or delivery is delayed due to customer-related reasons, additional charges may apply, including:

  • Waiting charges
  • Labour charges
  • Vehicle detention charges
  • Rescheduling charges
  • Storage charges, where applicable

12. Storage Services

Where storage services are provided:

  • Storage charges will apply according to the agreed quotation.
  • Customers remain responsible for collecting their goods within the agreed storage period.
  • Additional storage fees may apply for extended storage durations.

13. Insurance

Insurance coverage is available upon request, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Customers are encouraged to discuss insurance options before transportation, particularly for high-value items.

Unless expressly agreed, transportation charges do not automatically include insurance.

14. Limitation of Liability

ZAIRA Packers & Movers shall not be liable for losses or damages resulting from:

  • Improper customer packing (where packing is not performed by us)
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Electrical or mechanical failures of transported appliances
  • Hidden manufacturing defects
  • Customer negligence
  • Delay caused by force majeure events
  • Government actions
  • Road accidents beyond reasonable control
  • Inaccurate information supplied by the customer

Our liability, if any, shall be limited in accordance with applicable law and the agreed service terms.

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Fire
  • Pandemic-related restrictions
  • War
  • Civil disturbances
  • Government actions
  • Transportation strikes
  • Road closures
  • Severe weather conditions
